The Flamenco Dance Museum celebrated the 2nd Edition of the Cristina Hoyos Awards for Flamenco Cooperation, an initiative that recognises non-artistic entities and professionals who, through their work, make it possible for flamenco to be a sustainable economic activity. Their contribution has been key to consolidating the great Seville Flamenco brand and strengthening flamenco as a whole.
This initiative also represents a tribute to all professionals whose livelihoods depend directly on this cultural heritage, as well as to artists who have devoted their lives to the dignity and preservation of flamenco as an art form.
The awards ceremony took place on November 13 at 12:00 noon, at the Flamenco Dance Museum in Seville, as part of the celebrations of International Flamenco Day. The awards were presented by winners from the previous edition, accompanied by other distinguished figures.
The event was held at full capacity and brought together prominent representatives from the economic, cultural, tourism and artistic sectors, as well as professionals from the hospitality industry, travel agencies and the media.
