The Retrata Madrid collective, made up of 10 artists from the capital, is exhibiting at the Museo del Baile Flamenco Cristina Hoyos a selection of mixed media works on board entitled “10 Latidos” (10 Beats). The collection can be visited in the art gallery of the Museo del Baile Flamenco until 31 August 2019.

This exhibition takes up the path of flamenco representations, depicting solitary artists, couples in full dance and culminating with personal interpretations of stages and tablaos. From raw realism to more abstract works, a kaleidoscope of 10 sensibilities, techniques and visions has been formed, 10 beats around the grit and feeling of flamenco.
