Get started in flamenco with a dance class in Seville. Learn essential techniques such as braceo, floreo, marcaje, paseos and rhythmic accents with professional flamenco artists. A practical and inspiring flamenco lesson designed to help you understand the movement, rhythm and expression of this unique art form. Classes are available for both individuals and groups.
Discover the rhythm of flamenco through a percussion class with cajón and palmas. Learn to recognise different flamenco rhythms and practise techniques such as redobles, tresillos and caballitos while developing your sense of compás. This flamenco workshop is available for both individuals and groups.
If you already play guitar and would like to discover the techniques that make flamenco guitar different from classical guitar, this experience introduces techniques such as thumb work, thumb-index combinations, golpe, ligados, arpeggios, flamenco tremolo, picado and alzapúa.
All flamenco lessons and workshops are led by professional artists from the Flamenco Dance Museum with extensive experience in dance, percussion and guitar. In addition to these experiences, the Cristina Hoyos Flamenco Dance Museum school in Seville offers training designed to support artistic development, stage performance and the preparation of complete choreographies.
